We’re starting a new series this weekend where we’ll be sharing the best of what we’ve read from the personal finance blogosphere in the last week.  There are a ton of talented writers who are thinking about the same kinds of things as you see on Earn Give Save—props to them for the great stuff they put out each week.  So, without further ado, here’s some of the the best we’ve seen over the last week!

  • Peter from Bible Money Matters crushed it this week with a list of 50 personal finance bloggers to check out in 2010.  We didn’t see EGS on the list, but that’s cool; we are new to the block, after all!  This one’s going to be starred in Google Reader for a long time to come.
  • Kelly at The Centsible Life had a really thoughtful response to the devastation which occurred in Haiti this past week.  She’ll be donating 10 cents for every comment on her blogiversary giveaway post, as well as proceeds from affiliate links and other ads on her site.  We’ll be sharing some thoughts on Monday related to our recent post about Haiti, and another opportunity to give as well.
  • Mike from Gather Little by Little got our attention with his recent post which reviewed Get Financially Naked: How to Talk Money with Your Honey.  Sounds like the book is definitely in line with much of what we believe about communicating with your spouse about money.  We’ll be adding it to our reading list!
  • Bob from ChristianPF shares some excellent resources for getting out of debt, including his own downloadable e-book.  Christian PF continually offers a great perspective on money with a Christian focus.  We took a quick browse through Bob’s e-book, and it looks to be a great resource—be sure to check it out!
  • Amanda at My Dollar Plan rounds up a bunch of birthday freebiesWe’re making use of the Qdoba coupon tonight for our birthday celebration.  Guess who?
  • Jason from One Money Design gives us a look at his recent blog redesignSite’s looking good, Jason!
  • Finally, Jason at WorkAwesome has some good thoughts on starting the new year on a solid financial track.  WorkAwesome isn’t necessarily personal finance focused, but is definitely worth following in general.

We hope you enjoy this weekend reading—we’ll be back on Monday with more original content.  Have a great weekend!
